with a huge impact on horror cinema. The Production Budget of the film was very

Only Jim Siedow who performs the part of the
old man know as the “Cook” was a professional actor, also Paul a Partai had
performed in the past in a supporting role in Sidney Lumet’s “Lovin’ Molly”
(1974).
After Texas Chainsaw Massacre Marilyn Burns
went to play a role in the film “Eaten Alive” later performed the role of
“Linda Kasabian” in the Manson Family TV biopic Helter Skelter (Tom Cries,
1976), in 1985 reunited with Edwin Neal in “Future - Kill” (Ronald W. Moore,
1985). Gunnar Hansen after Texas Chainsaw Massacre performed in the parody –
horror film “Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers” (Fred Olen Ray, 1988). Jim Siedow
played also a part in the sequel film “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” and then he
concentrated on his theater career. William Vail who plays the part of Kirk
after Texas Chainsaw Massacre performed in Mausoleum (Michael Dugan, 1983) and
Poltergeist.
