Paranormal Activity 3 is the third film of Paranormal Activity film franchise, the plot structure of Paranormal Activity 3 is actually a prequel to the initial Paranormal Activity film (Oren Peli, 2007). The third film of the legendary series was directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman.


The plot structure of Paranormal Activity 3


The film Paranormal Activity 3 begins in 2005, when Katie delivers a box of VHS tapes to her pregnant sister Kristie and to her’s husband Daniel. After a year the box with the VHS tapes is missing.

The story then moves back in the past somewhere in 1998, Kristie and Katie lie with their mother Julie and hers mother boyfriend Dennis. Kristie starts to communicate with an individual boy named Toby. Dennis is the first to notice the happening of strange things in the house. Julie and Dennis decided to make a sex video but they were unlucky because their effort was interrupted and stopped by an earthquake. During the earthquake Julie and Dennis were looking for the girls, camera stays on and records dust falling from ceiling and records the shape of an invisible shape in the room. After a few seconds the shape moves and the dust falls to the floor.

Paranormal Activity 4 when a laptop and a Kinect change the live of a family



The film Paranornal Activity 4 is the fourth film of the Paranormal Activity film franchise and it’s based on the horror mythological which was initially started in 2007 with the legendary horror film Paranormal Activity.
The screenplay of “Paranormal Activity 4” is written by Zack Erstin and Oren Peli and the Paranormal IV film is directed by the directors of Paranormal Activity III, Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost.
As we all know Paranormal Activity films follow a parallel plot structure and an interaction between them, for example Paranormal Activity 2 (II) is not a sequel of Paranormal Activity I, it is about a parallel story and Paranormal Activity 3 (III) is a prequel to other two films and it starts fifteen years before the beginning of Paranormal Activity (I).
Paranormal Activity IV actually is sequel to Paranormal Activity II and it’s plot structure begins few years after the end of Paranormal Activity II.

The Plot structure of Paranormal Activity IV

As we know the film Paranormal Activity II ends with Katie kidnapping hers only female child Henry. The plot structure of Paranormal Activity IV starts few after the kidnapping and it cavers the life of Alice, her mother, her boyfriend Ben and the supernatural evil force appears when Katie and Hunter (they have changed the name of the boy from Hunter to Robbie) move into a new neighborhood. Kristie is ill and goes to hospital Alice’s mother took Robbie to their house to their house for a few days cause his mother is at the hospital. Then it starts and the supernatural and evil demonic force is after them.

The marketing Campaign of Paranormal Activity 4

The first theatrical trailer for Paranormal Activity 4 was released on 1 August of 2012. It worth to mention that in the theatrical trailer of the new film we can see that the story line follows the Paranormal mythology after the end of Paranormal 2 and that it shows a new film making technique and a new horror tip showing paranormal activity through a video chat on the screen of an open laptop.

The Cast of Paranormal Activity 4

In Paranormal Activity IV participates Katie Featherston who is already known to audience cause her participation in all previous Paranormal Activity films.
Katie Featherston plays the part of Katie. The part of Alice is played by Kathryn Newton, Brady Allen plays the part of boy (Hunter Rey/ Robbie). The part of Ben (Alice’s boyfriend) is played by Matt Shively. The part of Kristie (Katie’s sister) is played by Kristi Rey and the part of Micah is played by Micah Sloat. Molly Ephraim plays the part of Ali Rey and Alisha Boe plays the part of Young Katie.
