Sorry, for not writing the previous months! I was very busy about other unwelcome projects but I’m back with a new masterpiece of Horror Cinema,

The Conjuring is a supernatural – horror film, directed by James Wan in North Carolina. According to film – the fiction location of the film is Harrisvile in Rhode Island.  The story line of the film follows the usual fictional structure – group of innocent people, in Conjuring case , a family with five daughters is trapped in a house under the unexplained and deadly force of a demon. The film uses supernatural powers as villain and the main characters are the family and two supernatural investigators.

The cast of “The Conjuring” film

Vera Farmiga performs the part of Lorraine Warren (Supernatural Investigator). Patrick Wilson plays the part of Ed Warren (Supernatural Investigators).  Ron Livingston plays the part of Roger Perron (father of the family), Lilli Taylor plays the part of Carolyn Perron (mother of the family). Five daughters – five young actresses - Οι Shanley Caswell, Hayley McFarland, Joey King, Mackewnzie Foy, Kyla Deaver.

The main persons behind “The Conjuring” film

As I have mentioned above the film “Conjuring” was directed by James Wan. The script of the film is written by Chad and Carey Hayes. The horror masterpiece was produced by Tony DeRosa – Grund, Peter Safran and Rod Cowan.

The soundtrack of “The Conjuring” film

The music of the film was written by Joseph Bishara but beyond the main theme, songs of The Zombies “Time of the season”, Betsy Bryce “Sleep Walk” and Dead Man’s Bones “In the room where you sleep” enrich the film.

Commercial Success of the Film

The box office of film “The Conjuring” is beyond 300 million USD, 145 million from United States Market and the other from International Market (Asia, Europe, Australia and South America). Obviously “The Conjuring” is a huge commercial success and soon it will be a horror film franchise, the pre production of Conjuring II is has already started.

Paranormal Activity II - The demon is back

Paranormal Activity II is the second supernatural horror film part of the Paranormal Activity Franchise. Paranormal Activity has a plot structure that starts two months before and parallel in relation with the plot structure of the initial Paranormal Activity. Paranormal Activity II was written by Michael Perry and directed by Tod Williams.

The plot structure of Paranormal Activity 2

The plot structure of Paranormal Activity is about a family - the couple Kristie, Dan,  Dan’s  daughter Ali, their infant son Hunter, Kristie’s sister Katie, the housekeeper Martine and their dog Aby. The story begins at 2006, with a “burglary“ at the couple’s house. Only hunter’s necklace is missing which was a Katie’s present. The couple believes that there is danger for more criminal activity in the future and Dan places security cameras inside and outside of the house. Martine the latin housekeeper believes that they are under a demonic attack and she wants to force “evil spirits” to leave from the house. There is also a background story Katie and Kristi believe that since their childhood they are under the influence and negative power of a demon.    

Ali hears strange sounds during the knight and she walks outside of the house and then door of the house closes behind her. Then Ali realizes that there is something supernatural in their house and starts searching and studying for demons. She discovers that people can communicate and make deals with demons for  wealth, power and glory. Also, Ali reexamines the family situation according to which had not been a male child in Kristi and Katie’s family since the time of their great - great grandmother, aand Hunter is the only male child in the family.

The dog of the family it attacked and injured by the demon. Dan and Ali take the dog Abby to the veterinarian, during their absence Krist is under a demonic attack. A powerful demonic force drugs her into the basement and she stays there for an hour when she walks out of the basement shedoes not look normal she is possessed.
