Resident Evil the video game of horror and then the conqueror of Horror Cinema
The Resident Evil now days is a media franchise developed and owned by the Japanses video game company Capcom. Resident Evil is known to Japan with the name Biohazard. The concept of the game is the gamer to survive in an unfriendly horror environment. Resident Evil was created by Shinji Mikami and it is very successful - till now there 23 editions of the Resident Evil game with more than 50 million units sold.
Resident Evil expanded beyond the limits of video games industry with relative releases to other industries such as comic books, novels, sound dramas and finally series of animated and live - action films. The case of Resident Evil must be studied carefully by all interested people who are involved in entertainment industry.
